Austrian Chicken |
INGREDIENTS Skinned, boneless chicken breasts ~ sliced smoked ham ~ 1oz plain flour ~ 1oz butter ~ half pint milk ~ 4oz grated smoked Austrian cheese METHOD 1) Cut each chicken breast into about three sections. 2) Wrap each piece of meat with a slice of ham, placing in an ovenproof dish. 3) Make a smooth cheese sauce with the flour, butter, milk and grated cheese. 4) Pour over chicken, cover dish and bake for 40-45 minutes. |
